Just the Goods is a Winnipeg-based producer
of handmade natural and affordable skin care products for everyone. We
are Champion Status members of the Compact for Safe Cosmetics
and we promise to always retain our commitment to that
agreement!
Every day indulgences shouldn’t cost the earth or
our health. It is affordable to look and feel great without
unnecessary exposure to petrochemicals, parabens, sulfates,
phthalates, and artificial fragrances, dyes and flavours.
Everything we make features “just the goods” and nothing
else. All items are made without animal-derived ingredients
with one exception, which is that we offer two types of lip balm — one
is vegan, and the other includes beeswax and lanolin.
And what’s the point of wasteful packaging, anyway? Most
of our products come in re-useable canning jars and the price for
these items includes a $1.00 refundable deposit that you can use
toward your next purchase.
To facilitate shipping and to support different types of
products (i.e. lotions, toners, lip balm, etc.) we also offer products
in re-useable HDPE plastic bottles, which is considered one
of the safest forms of plastics.
Since we’re small and local, we’re happy to offer custom
blending services. Do you have a unique fragrance or flavour
combination in mind? Ask us about it — we’ll see what we can do!
IMPORTANT PRODUCT NOTES
All Just the Goods skin care products are produced without:
* Petro-Chemicals
* Phthalates
* Parabens
* Sulfates
* Artificial preservatives
* Synthetic fragrances
* Dyes or colourants of any kind (… we just don’t see the point)
Just the Good’s all natural skin care products have
been tested extensively by us and our friends — some of whom are,
admittedly, party animals — but we still ask that you use the same
precautions you would with any other new skin care product.
All products are for external use only. Please read ingredient labels
carefully and thoroughly if you have any allergy concerns or
sensitivities. If redness, rash or irritation occurs, immediately
discontinue use of product and/or consult your physician.
Please note that some essential oils can be quite potent and, even in
small quantities, it is often recommended they be avoided by children
and during pregnancy, particularly during the first trimester.

Since we are a small company buying raw materials in limited
quantities, our purchasing is affected by variations in the market
